How This Started

My grandfather started in this trade because he couldn't find anyone else willing to do it with care. He had standards. My father inherited those standards, then added his own hard lessons from three decades of work. When I started my own company in 2009, I brought both of their voices with me, but I also knew something had to change.

I watched how the industry had shifted. Speed mattered more than sense. Corners got cut because corners were profitable. I saw families stressed about work that was done wrong the first time, and contractors who didn't return calls because they'd already moved on to the next job. I decided right then that my company would be built on the opposite principle: we'd do fewer jobs, better.

The first five years were lean. We turned down work. We showed up on time when others didn't. We finished what we started. Slowly, people noticed. The calls changed quality, not just quantity. Clients began referring us not because we were cheap, but because they trusted us. That trust became the real business.
